Mini Company... Bake Sale... Rapheals :)

Well its not going so bad... i suppose ... Were having a bake sale at lunch doh! im so excitied!! and then later im going up to rapheals to have a christmas party:) cant wait! Rapheals is up the way from our school we go every wednesday its called the "friendship club" we go up and socialise with seniors that have down syndrome. i love it so much because im so interested in doing this as a carrer when im older so its really giving me a good expierence.

Cant wait for Christmas!

I cant wait for Christmas! Its getting so close but i still need to get pressies! We did kris kindle in the year im so happy with mine and i cant wait to see who got me! ha we made a video last week for other schools to watch and were singing different christmas songs its great! Have Christmas tests next week! not looking forward to them... but then on wednesday were going bowling!! I love TY :) Today is our dress up day, Caitriona is a Christmas Tree, Fiona is a present, Shanen is Santa Clause, Brona is also Santa Clause! Its really starting to feel like christmas, especially when you listen to Xmas Fm Every morning on the way to school! and micheal bubles album! i love him :)haha well thats all for now!

We won! :)

Well done to all the girls in TY because we won the Eircom Spider Award!! Leah Sarah and Sarah headed off with Mrs L. early yesterday morning to go to the edublog awards and we won! We won because of our blogs were the best project blogs, we were all so happy with the news! Well done everyone in TY.

Musical is finally here!

The musical has started and im having so much fun already! i have met loads of new people and made new friends its fun, today is wednesday and it is the 3rd day of the musical :( i dont want it to be over! So far all is going good so thats great, i cant wait for later! Few mistakes have been made but were all laughing at them now haha me shanen orla and emma are having great bant on the side of the stage doing props and helping to change the set around for the next scene ! (were doing sound of music btw for those who dont know.)

Work expierence..

Well today I had my second day of work experience and i love it so much so far. Im working in the pre-school in stewards in Palmerstown. I work with children from 5 and under that have an intellectual disabilty and its very interesting. The women i work with are lovely and im really loving it so far, im so happy i came here.

Midterm :)

Midterm was great :) Halloween was fun, and im actually kinda happy to be back in school cause were on work experience next week! I actually cant wait, im going to stewarts to work in a preschool with children that have intellectual disabilites and it should be a great week. Im going to be painting and im finished at half 1 which is nice :) well i will let you know how it goes,

My Birthday:) on monday..

On the 24th of October it was my Birthday, i had a super day and i got such good pressies and alot of happy birthdays :) Anita leah and vicky got me a lovely pandora charm :) it has flowers on either side and i really like it, i got great pressies off my family and im still undecided about having a party :) Caitriona and Naimh got made me buns and a cake and meg made me love buns there was so nice i just couldnt share them :) Also Princess and Ohhh through me a little party in the room and they made me a card that was just sooo nice! ha thanks guys :) Thanks shannen for saying happy birthday to me in her blog :) thanks to everyone who gave me a pressie and said happy birthday i had a super day :)

Juno And The Paycock Trip...

Yesterday 19th of October, we left the school at around a quater past 9 and off we went to town. First we went to go to the museum, the library, and the Yeats Exhibition. Each class went different places, we ( banba) went to The Museum first it was very interesting as we looked at bog people from years ago that were displayed at the museum I thought it was really interesting, and I thought it was different. I learned a lot about these bog people, i never even knew all that excited! It was strange how these were like actually people years ago but then it was interesting also. We looked at the Yeats exhibition and in my opinion I thought this was very good, we studied Yeats in 3rd year and we did 3 of his poems so when i went to see this and learned more about his life and more about the reasons for his poems it was written. We had questions to do and this helped us learn alot more as we were looking for the answers. The exhibition was displayed very well and there was a place in the middle where we could sit and listen to his poems. After this we went to the library this wasnt a good as i expected it was going to be but it was okay. We spent about 20 mins in there because there wasnt alot to see. After we went to grafton street and we got to have a 45 min break,most people went to burger king or mcDonalds.I got a nice burger and twisty fries and i had the lunch with sarah kelly and laura smith :) it was lovely :) haha after we went to go see the play at Abbey theatre "Juno and the Payock" it was a very good production and it helped me to really understand the play alot better. They theatre was packed with loads of people, there was a school from belfast there, they were an all girls school and the girls me and anita were talking to in the bathrooms were lovely. We arrived back at the school for around half 5. All in all it was another great day in TY :)

Another Exciting Week in TY ! :)

Well the Fun Walk was last Friday and we did bob the builder and yes we did win :) that was a great day. On wednesday we went off for mini company and she talked to us about our ideas, she never got around to us but we have been so busy getting it all together. After the talk we got Abrakadabra ( i think thats how its spelt, me and anita were both trying to spell that out just there ha ) and me and anita got a lovely chicken burger and chips :) yum.
  This Geog project is so hard and its so annoying because we only have till midterm but Folda have till Chrismas but me and Aisling are nearly there. Todays thursday and we have activities which is good :) And tomorrow is friday! Think i might do loads of my geog this weekend.

Projects...

So much projects ! When people said you got projects in TY i didnt relise how much you got but to be honest i kinda love them it keeps me busy and im actually learning how hard it is to book a holiday in Geography classes!! And mini company... well thats just stressful.. i love our Home ec project though we have the colour black and white and we have to make an outfit with a tshirt and trousers and were making half a bride half a groom outfit, so far its so good :) we are talking about a project for history but we havent started yet and im not really looking forward to it..

Everyone Loves Thursdays :)

Everyone loves thursdays, simpley because of the fact for the last 3 classes after lunch we have dancing, palatays and photography classes with Rob Love. They just make TY that extra bit better :)

Junior Cert Results..

On Wednesday the 14th we got our results, im really happy with my results and thank god i didnt fail anything :) When i got my results i went out for lunch with my mam and then i went home and got ready for that night, it was a great night at time. The Junior Cert is over and nothing has been said about it since :) thats pretty much it about results,

Carlingford... Amazing :)

We started getting excited about TY the minute we got into TY in 3rd year! We had heard all the other Ty's saying it was so amazing so we obviously got really excited and believe me it was so worth getting our hopes up about! We met up at Esso in Celbridge at 7oclock (yes 7) in the morning on Monday the 12th of September. Everyone was getting there bags out of the car and putting them on the bus or going into the shop to get there last minute bits (food).We set off and finally we were on the way to Carlingford , everyone was so excited talking and singing about Carlingford on the way :) Me,Orla,Aisling and Siofra decided to play a game about disney channel ha it was good fun:)

         When we arrived at Carlingford we put our bags in a storage room and then we went straight out to LASER!! That was the best start to the day for sure! We had these big army suits things and guns it was amazing. Walking through the town to walk up that horrible hill was funny though with orla pointing her gun at people :) awh god it was funny.. When we got up there obviously the blue team won :) "Lets go blue team, lets go"

          We then had lovely chips with saussages and beans :) after that we went back out to do challenge games they were good fun and the walk over was a bit of a treck but we just had a sing song with john and wayne singing all the oldies :)

           We came back to have dinner which was spagetti bolanaginse (yummy), also there was a boys school there and we all just made friends with them and we were all just sitting around talking.. Until we had to go to do night line walk thingy which was good fun we were blindfolded and just had to work as a team so that was actually good :)

          We got back and had a singsong with the lads until 20 past 11, me orla sive and isabelle went out into the mint place and took hilarious pictures !! cant wait to show everyone :) haha especially the ones of  orla.
   The next day we went orientereing, it was okay but with sive isabelle anita and orla in my group it was alot better!! Alot more happened but if you see the pictures you would understand so much better! So TY is going so good so far and im so happy im doing it :)

And TY Finally Starts....

BANBA 2011 2012 :) (definatly the best class ever cause niamh cassidy is in it) hahah, Cant belive im finally in TY it was the only thing I was looking forward to in 3rd year and obviously finishing the JC! I love my class! I have come closer with alot of people that i wasnt close to in 1st-3rd year so thats great :) I started last monday the 29th of August and it was great to see everyone again. I can remember walking in with siofra and looking at the classes and not knowing what to expect but when i saw i was in Banba and Siofra and alot of other lovely girls were in my class i was so just happy :)
    Its only a week into school and we already have a good few projects but i love it cause its in groups and i know its going to bring me closer with people and were gonna have a few laughs along the way :) Me meg and Aoibeann are together for BTyoungScientest and its great craic already i love our project :) And for mini company there is loads of us and i love our idea for that also!! For geog we have to do a project and go to 6 different countries! Im with aisling and so far its going okay.. haha It should be alot of fun once we get going at it :)
     Today is the 8th of September and i got moved out of the Art class into the Homec Classes and i think i will love it, im doing a project for that also, i dont know alot about it yet but i have double homec in the morning so i should find out then :) so far our idea sounds great!! I love it !!
   We also have palaties and dancing and photography today and it makes thursdays so much better!! I dont mind my timetable because i finish with double PE on a friday so i cant complain!! Whoever said TY is a doss its not atall and so far i have nothing negitive to say :) im really loving TY and i know this year is definatly going to be a year im never going to forget :)
